itshothereI’m back…yeah it’s hot in here today, and that gave me an idea for yet another new effect. Today’s tutorial is called Fiery Effect using cloud rendering of Paint.NET. Also I’ve extracted yet another goodies for the Trickster sprites 1st Job Buffalo - you may use this for siggys, banners, gamics, and etc.

Back to the tutorial, this effect requires user to have Cloud render effect, build in since Paint.NET 3.30 and some layer rendering settings.

Tammy’s GamicPress Corner #4

ReflectionHowdy everyone, welcome again to Tammy’s Corner #4. Today we have some goodies to share with you. Here are some of the ready-made cut out sprites from the game Trickster Online for sheep 1st job.

You will need to delete off the green background on these files (easily done using magic wand or replace colors) and save them into png or gif. After that they are ready to be used in gamics, siggys, animation videos and even your own games.

Icy is making some games in the weekends and will we will host it in our GamicPress Game Page here. Do check it out from time to time. The games released there can be copied and hosted in many other sites e.g. blogs and even your favourite social network page so, if you like it and decide to place some games in for your guildies to play - can get the codes there. As for today’s tips will be on how to create simple reflection effect.

Alright I’m back finally so, let’s get started on Gamic tips and tricks of the day. Today, we are going to learn about Cut Out Sprites. Constructing a gamic scene using cut out sprites is possible rather than, just relying on screenshots.

Sometimes, the screenshot you capture may not have the necessary object/sprites/items or character you wanted.

Tammy’s GamicPress Corner #2

It’s me again Agent Tammy, today’s post will be on how to make Japanese Lightray effect. Using Lightray effect downloadable here. Simply download the file, unzip it and copy the dll file into your paint.net effect plugin folder (by default is C:\Program Files\Paint.NET\Effects) then, exit and restart Paint.NET.

Note: Some version or some compilation of plugins already have this effect build-in. If LightRays.dll already exist in the folder then, it is already been installed. You can look for the Effects under Render sub-menu.
