Hi everyone, welcome again to the next episode with Tammy :). Today’s episode will cover where to get good comical fonts and how to install new fonts to your system.

This week there’s two goodies to download too from this post.
The 2nd job bunny and 2nd job cat sprites.

 

Fonts files sometimes known as True Type Fonts (*.ttf) are files used by Windows and application such as Paint.NET, Microsoft Words, Gimp, Flash, Photoshop and etc for font display. The font Arial for example, is actually a ttf file located in the Windows font folder.

 

See the picture (contents in Fonts Folder):

This particular Fonts folder is situated in Control Panel, be it Windows XP, or Vista.

To install a new font, all you need to do is to copy the TTF file into this folder.

Next, lets go to some sites with good and free fonts to download. In fact there’s are some already in the Resources page such the one below :-

This font is called Zitz. Good font to use for normal speech bubble font.

The name is called Anje Eliane. Anje Eliane is located at http://www.dafont.com/anja-eliane.font

Once, you have downloaded the font usually in a zip file extract it at the desktop and just copy the ttf into the font folder in control panel. Restart or start any application you want to use the font with. Make sure you remember the name of the font because, they will be loaded in alphabetical order.
