Xiu’s Trickster Spoofers Vol I
After playing Trickster Online, I’ve noticed and collect a number of “so-called” spoofers that the developer left behind to make this game memorable one. These spoofers are somewhat inserted into game items, monster’s name, monster’s design itself, pet conversations, pet designs, npc, maps and etc.
These spoofers usually relate to our real world comics, jokes, movies, heroes, branding or even favourite can food and drinks. I also noticed, some of the spoofers are subtly modified to avoid copyright issues that may cropped against Ntreev. This week, I would like to list 3 of my favourite spoofers ingame and they all have the same theme – Lord of the Rings.
The EYE in Monster Guild Building
The eye that appears in every monster guild building was the first that caught my attention.
One glance at it got me wondering … “Where did I see this thing before?”
Of course it is the evil Sauron’s tower itself in Lord of the Rings series. Hmmm…let’s move on to the next so-called LOTR related material muahaha…
NPC Clerk Z.Smith
The NPC Clerk Z.Smith behaviour and appearance looks exactly like Smeagol or Gollum. He’s always with the Ring attached to his neck.
Most of his quest is related to guess what, collecting rings, jewelries and blink blinks. The one that appears in Tapasco Volcano looks poses exactly like the one in the movie LMAO…

The Broken Sword in Vampire’s Castle
It’s dark inside here, so most people missed out this spoofer. There’s exactly a broken sword in a display case inside the castle. Well, this could be the Andurill, the legendary broken sword forged for the kings!
In LOTR this was the sword reforged by the elves to aid Aragon in the battle.
