Tammy’s GamicPress Corner #6
Hiya all, time for another new dazzling effects for Paint.NET. I also have one more complete sprite for 1st job racoon here for trickster fans out there. Today we cover a more common effect that most of the gamic – the blurring effects. Blurring effects can be used to displayed all kinds of situation.
Mainly they are used to provide focus on certain object within the area. Today we will be learning on how to make macro shot effect. Take a good look at the these two example of picture below Figure 1.1.

Figure 1.1 : A captain and a clear background vs captain and a blurred background
Notice that Figure on the right provides are more focus on the character itself and lesser on the background. This is useful to provide a macro shot view of the character and provide a better focal point towards your character rather than the background. Sometimes background may look more colorful and detailed than your character, if that happens we need to apply some blurring effect – otherwise the character just doesn’t stand out (extremely important when that panel is introducing your new character). I have provided a sample material for this tutorial here.

elezends last blog post..Couple Avatars for forum.
U see a lot of this in camera shots. Where u can set shot options to macro and place the object you wanna snap right infront the view…you will get the same results.
I agree with your post. Which is not something I will usually do!
I enjoy reading a post that will make one think. Also, thanks for allowing me to comment!
